Polkadoodles Christmas Inspiration

Hi everyone and welcome to another brand new Polkadoodles Challenge All our challenges are

Anything Goes

while for an added challenge the DT's are focussing on Christmas inspirations to help you get in the mood for the festive season.

For my make this week I have used the beautiful new Festive Christmas download collection with one of my favourite Twiggy images.

I used four different background papers and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the background shapes for my layers. I then print and cut the charming Angel Owl that I coloured in with my copic markers. The colours I used are: YG67, YG63, W5, W3, W1, W00, Y26, Y23, Y21, YR20, Y0000, E84, E81, R27, R24, R22, R21.
I also print and cut out the flower, leaves and tag from the  Festive Christmas download collection - they are all from the collection too. To finish the card, I added the sentiment to a sun shape and cut it out. Then added all my cut outs to make the card.

Here is my card:

Happy stamping until next time...

ABC Challenges - P is for Pearls

Hi I'm back with a new ABC Challenge and this one is P is for Pearls. This challenge is sponsored by Polkadoodles and today I've used a pre-coloured digital image from the beautiful Meribelle collection - Meribelle Swimming Around for my card. Here is my card:

I printed my image and background paper on White cardstock. I used an oval die to cut an oval around the image. I then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the slightly bigger oval, the fancy white frame, the patterned paper and the backing card. Last step was to assemble the layers and add some white pearls around the edge.

Until next time, happy crafting...
Carol

Hi everyone and welcome to another brand new Polkadoodles Challenge All our challenges are

Anything Goes

For my inspiration make this week I have used the beautiful Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles download collection. Such a fabulous set of images, papers, embellishments, sayings, cut files, oh the list just goes on and on.
Anyway for my card, I used a background paper and layered it onto some golden yellow card. I then used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the lovely precoloured Building Sandcastles digi with a fancy doily border. I also print and cut out the sandcastle, bucket and spade and the shells - they are all from the collection too. To finish the card, I added the sentiment to a sun shape and cut it out. Then added all my cut outs to make the card.

Polkadoodles challenge - F is for...

Hi everyone and welcome to another brand new Polkadoodles Challenge. All our challenges are

Anything Goes

while for an added challenge the DT's are adding something starting with F to our makes.

For my make, I decided to make a card with flowers in the background and I couldn't go past the lovely papers from the Winnie in Wonderland collection. Now if you don't want the whole collection, you can just buy the background papers in sets - the papers I chose are from Winnie Wonderland Paper Heaven 6. I printed my background on bright white paper using my Canon inkjet Pixma printer - one thing I love about these papers is how bright the colours are and how much detail is in the background - they are so pretty. I layered the paper onto some green card and then onto a larger white card that I punched a fancy edge on using an around the page punch set.

I then printed one of my favourite fairy - Serenity Princess and coloured her in with my copics. The colours I used are: E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20, C00, C1, C3, Y28, Y23, Y21, G20, G0000, YG00, RV14, RV34, R21, RV0000, E57. E55, E53, E51.

To finish off my card, I added a triple bow and a white rose, and some little pearls to the fairy crown.

Here is my card:

And stop press - quick go and check out the Polkadoodles challenge blog for a special offer - but you must do it before midnight on Friday night (UK time)
